The Sarawak Cub Prix Championship 2011 (National Status) Round 3 Mukah Series

MUKAH: The Sarawak Cub Prix Championship 2011 (National Status) Round 3 Mukah Series kicked off at the parking bay of Taman Kala Dana, here, yesterday. Hundreds of motoring fans thronged the venue on the opening of the two-day event. The race, jointly organised by Mukah Resident Office, Dalat- Mukah District Council (MDDM) and Sarawak Automotive Racing Sport Association (SARSA) and supported by Ministry of Social Development and Urbanisation (KPSU), is divided into three categories – Category A(senior), Category B(senior) and special category called NB-Dai Ichi One Make Race.. The teams for category A and B are AY Hadi Racing Team, Ghee Hua Motorworld, Gertaq Racing Team, WMCC+ VS Racing Team, Apido Yamaha Boon Kui Racing Team, N.B.Motor Racing Team, Alfera Citra and Blitz Racing Team. For the NB-Dai Ichi One Make Race, the racers are Daing Jamilus Ahmad Jamil, Mohd Riyad Kailan, Muhd Zikri Mansoor, Khairul Ismai l Mohalddin, Ahmad Razaimy Ahmad Zaki, Mohd Dave Rakawi, Mohd Redha Fatmi Mohd Rizal, Ahmad Kamil Besiri, Ramli Mohd Ulis and M Aliff Samshul. By staging the event, the government hopes to develop the motoring sport in the state and nurtures future national and world class motor sports athletes. It is also hoped that the event could assist the government in handl ing the ne gat i v e cul ture among the youths, especially their involvement in illegal racing and attract them instead to get involved in a safer race which is recognised by the government. Political secretary to Chief Minister cum Jemoreng state assemblyman, Abu Seman Jahwie, is expected to officiate at the closing cum prize presentation ceremony this afternoon.

Kebakaran di Pasar Lama Mukah

Mukah, 18 Febuari 2009 - Satu kebakaran telah berlaku di Pasar Lama Mukah lewat petang tadi ( 1920 waktu tempatan ).    Ini adalah kali kedua kebakaran besar berlaku di Pasar Lama Mukah. Blok bangunan lama yang terselamat dari kebakaran besar pada tahun 2001 kini telah habis hangus. Antara bangunan yang dikenal pasti terlibat ialah satu pusat arked permainan, kedai aksesori kereta dan beberapa restoran di sekitar bagunan lama tersebut. Punca sebenar kebakaran masih tidak dapat dikenal pasti. Diminta Agent24 yang berdekatan melaporkan lebih lanjut berita ini. Diminta para pembaca lebih berhati hati pada musim panas pada ketika ini.  Jangan biarkan anak anak bermain dengan api atau apa apa punca yang boleh menyebabkan kebakaran.

Banjir semakin buruk di Sarawak

Sibu,11 Januari 2008:      Hujan lebat selama beberapa jam bermula dari pagi semalam, 10 Januari, telah menyebabkan banjir di sesetengah kawasan di kawasan zon tengah Sarawak. Antara kawasan yang terjejas ialah Sibu,Mukah,Bintulu,Miri dan beberapa kawasan di sekitarnya. Laporan lanjut dari Agent24 berdekatan akan menyusul kemudian.

Peringatan kepada forumer PGX, awasi anak anak kecil dan minum air yang telah dimasak. Penyakit mudah merebak disebabkan banjir.
