Kuching, 26 September 2009 – Sebuah kancil terbabas disisi jalan dipercayai gagal dikawal kerana kerosakan pada bahagian stering kenderaaan berkenaan. Menurut mangsa, beliau gagal mengawal kenderaan yang dipandunya lalu terbabas dan terbalik disisi jambatan Masja. Dalam situasi berkenaan, kancil berkenaan dikatakan berselisih dengan sebuah Proton Saga (Model Baru) sebelum terbabas dan terbalik. Proton berkenaan yang melalui laluan bersebalahan selamat daripada dirempuh oleh Perodua Kancil berkenaan.
Tiada sebarang korban nyawa dilaporkan dan mangsa (pemandu Perodua Kancil) hanya luka ringan tetapi kereta beliau rosak teruk. Saya yang melalui jalan berkenaan terus membuat liputan walaupun keadaan pada ketika itu seperti berada didalam oven (panas terik). Laporan mungkin terlewat sedikit kerana masalah server down dan sukar untuk membuat laporan.
