Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan Sedania Corporation Sdn Bhd, Azrin Mohd Noor, berkata, orang ramai kini boleh mendapatkan GSP di mana-mana ejen pelancongan yang berdaftar dengan kami atau melalui portal www.travelneeds2u.com.
Menurutnya, melalui tempahan itu, pelanggan hanya perlu ke `booth’ syarikat sebaik menjejak kaki ke lapangan terbang di negara yang dilawati untuk mendapatkan kad sim syarikat telekomunikasi mereka.
“Pelanggan hanya perlu menunjukkan baucar tempahan dan kakitangan di sana akan menyerahkan kad sim negara itu, sekali gus kadar bayaran penggunaan telefon bimbit mengikut kadar ditetapkan syarikat telekomunikasi negara berkenaan.
“Dengan itu, anda tidak payah pening kepala memikirkan cara mendapatkan kad sim dan memudahkan untuk menghubungi ahli keluarga dengan kadar segera. Malah, ia memberi penjimatan berganda kepada pengguna,” katanya.
Dengan kadar semurah AS$10 (kira-kira RM36), pelancong di seluruh dunia boleh membeli GSP syarikat telekomunikasi Celcom di Malaysia, Hello (Kemboja), Indosat (Indonesia), M1 (Singapura) dan akan diperluaskan ke Aktel (Bangladesh) dan Viettel (Vietnam).
Azrin berkata, GSP adalah perkhidmatan seumpamanya di dunia itu membolehkan pelanggan tempatan menempah kad sim negara asing yang ingin dilawati pada harga lebih murah berbanding menggunakan telefon pada kadar perayauan antarabangsa.
Beliau berkata, pihaknya meletak sasaran menyediakan perkhidmatan itu di lima negara di Asia Tenggara sehingga hujung tahun ini dengan Indonesia pada bulan depan sebelum diperluaskan.
