BORNEO TOUR: AIZAT 2011

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular comedian and radio presenter Din Beramboi is in an induced coma at the Selayang Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after being infected by rat urine when shooting a pet show, according to friends of the artist.

In messages being resent via Twitter (or retweets), friends are calling for those with Type O blood to help by donating blood at the hospital.

One of the messages, attributed to fellow comedian Afdlin Shauki, said Din’s internal organ functions have shut down and he is bleeding internally.

“Doctor gives him 24-48 hours. Pray for Din,” the message added.

Afdlin and Din are both regular judges on Astro RIA’s Raja Lawak reality programme.

ERA Programme Manager Nazri Noran, when contacted by Berita Harian, said the doctor did not discount the possibility that Din Beramboi, or Mior Ahmad Fuad Mior Badri, was infected by rat urine.
