KUCHING – It would be a bleak Hari Raya for about 100 family members after their houses were razed in a dawn fire today at Kampung Tabuan Melayu.

Three families who were staying near the river were forced to jump into the river to save themselves as they were unable to go to the front of the house which was razed.

Two rows of houses facing each other were razed. The fire started in the centre of the 13 houses which was rented out. Due to the closeness of the houses, the fire spread to the opposite side.

A contractor said when he heard shouts of fire, he rushed out and forgot to get his RM60,000 cash which he collected yesterday. He said those houses razed were mostly relatives.

Most of the family members were unable to save their belongings as fire spread fast due to the strong wind this morning.

According to Kuching Fire Chief, Baharuddin Idris, the Fire and Rescue Services received a distress call at 5.40 am. Two minutes later they arrived at the scene and about half an hour later, the fire was under control.

He said the cause and estimated loss was still being investigated.

Three fire-engines from Tabuan Jaya, Padungan and Batu Lintang rushed to the scene to help put out the fire.

Alhamdulillah, Aktiviti tok berjalan dengan lancar dan teratur. Event tok in-collaboration dengan JDM Seiketsu Club, PGXVC Miri, Photographers, Team Streetglow, Clover Club, Street Machine Garage, Oiltown Classic Car Club dan kawan2 yang menyokong penuh aktiviti yang telah dijalankan. Jutaan Terima Kasih diucapkan dan semoga kita bertemu lagi di dalam aktiviti yang akan datang. Thank you~!!

KUCHING 7 Julai – Sebuah helikopter milik Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) jenis Eurocopter mengalami kemalangan semasa menjalani latihan di kawasan Santubong dekat sini pagi ini.

Kejadian yang mengakibatkan helikopter itu terbalik berlaku ketika pesawat berkenaan cuba mendarat pada pukul 9.50 pagi.

Bagaimanapun dua krew pesawat berkenaan tidak mengalami sebarang kecederaan. – Utusan

Agent24 Report: Pelancaran buku’Haluan Kiri’ KukuBesi and Chot Touch 4/7

Kuala Lumpur: Pada 4/7, dua ikon tidak asing lagi pada photographer tempatan, KukuBesi dan Chot Touch telah melancarkan buku kolaborasi pertama mereka yang berjudul ‘Haluan Kiri’. Buku ini yang memaparkan gambar gambar terbaik daripada dua ikon tersebut yang berharga RM150 laris dijual.

Event yang di rasmikan di Bently Hall ini telah mendapat sambutan yang sangat menggalakkan dan ramai photographer ‘otai’ tempatan telah datang memberikan sokongan padu mereka terhadap perjuangan jurufoto jalanan di Malaysia. Diharapkan kegiatan sihat seperti ini akan diadakan lagi pada masa akan datang dari jurufoto tempatan. Pengisian nyanyian daripada artis tempatan juga memeriahkan pelancaran buku ini. Berikut adalah beberapa gambar sepanjang majlis.

Kemalangan Maut di Traffic Light Lutong (MIRI)

Kemalangan berlaku pagi tadik 07.06.2010 (11.40am). Melibatkan sebuah kereta vios, Bas awam dan Cement Mixer Truck.
Vios berada di tgh2 sewaktu kemalangan. Tengah menunggu lampu isyarat.Mcm ne bleh berlaku maseh belum pasti cuma info from org on scene, nya madah bas ya di belakang vios, lori masok simpang lepas turun jadi jambatan, gagal membrek dan eksiden berlaku. diheret few meter and pinned dibah bas.
mengikut sumber di tempat kejadian, pemandu adalah pekerja Shell. tp not yet confirm sapa.
so, berhati-hati la kita di jalan raya. mcm2 berlaku dah nektok.

Kemalangan di Puncak Borneo

29 may 2010 - KUCHING: Tarat assemblyman Roland Sagah Wee Inn sustained three broken ribs when his four-wheel drive vehicle plunged 12m into a ravine at Jalan Puncak Borneo, about 70km from here.
Four others in the vehicle, including the driver, were also injured in the incident which occurred at about 2pm yesterday.
Sagah told reporters at the Sarawak General Hospital that his group was coming down from the Borneo Highlands Resort and heading towards Kuching after a function with community leaders when the vehicle went out of control.
“I think the 4WD had brake problems. The ravine is very deep. I was conscious and it’s a torture looking at it because our 4WD turned turtle twice before landing on its side at the bottom of the ravine,” he said.
He recalled that the vehicle plunged down fast and only came to a stop about three minutes later.
Fortunately for the victims, Sagah said the trees cushioned the impact and this could have saved their lives.
Among the victims were two councillors. One of them was discharged after treatment while the other was still under observation.
The other two victims were still receiving treatment at press time.
Sagah said Deputy Tourism Minister Datuk Dr James Dawos Mamit who was passing through the area in another 4WD after attending the same function, sent them to the hospital.

AGENT24 REPORT: Sepang F1 2010

LITAR ANTARABANGSA SEPANG, 4 APRIL: Pasukan Red Bull sememangnya memerlukan kemenangan besar untuk kembali untuk berentap merebut kemenangan keseluruhan, dan Sebastian Vettel membawa harapan Red Bull ke arah tersebut dengan memenangi tempat pertama di pusingan akhir F1 di sini semalam.

Keadaan litar yang kering sejak dari pagi, membolehkan Mark Webber juga dari Red Bull untuk mendapat tempat ke-2.

Para Agent24, kiky_3606 dan themanwithnoname serta seorang forumer PGX yang disegani, nick platini tiba di Litar kira kira pukul 4 petang bagi menyaksikan pertarungan hebat ini.

Vettel menguasai tempat di hadapan bersama rakan pasukannya, sekali sekala mendapat saingan dari pasukan McLarens Lewis Hemiltion. Webber sentiasa mengawasi rapat dengan Vettil sehingga ke pit stop dimana beliau telah ketinggalan sebanyak 2 setengah saat disebabkan masalah teknikal pada tayarnya, dan akhirnya menamatkan perlumbaan dengan ketinggalan 4 saat dibelakang.

Nico Roseberg satu satunya pemandu dari Mercedes GP dan menghabiskan perlumbaan di tempat ke tiga. Lagenda F1, Micheal Shumacher bersama rakan pasukan Robert Kubica mendapat mata untuk Renault.

Keputusan keseluruhan dari perlumbaan ini telah mengubah jumlah mata keseluruhan, di mana Massa mendahului dengan 39 mata dihadapan Alonso dan Vettel, 37 mata, Button 35, Hamilton dan Kubica 30. Keseluruhannya Ferrari masih menguasai F1 dengan 76 , mata, McLaren 66, Red Bull 61, Mercedes 44 dan Renault 30

Dimaklumkan bahawa F1 2010 adalah antara perlumbaan yang paling meriah dicatatkan dalam sejarah F1 di Malaysia
